SKUSA 2026 Winter Nationals at Musselman Honda + Race ROTAX (KSG) Alignment

Superkarts! USA has confirmed the venue for the 2026 Winter Nationals and announced a scheduling partnership with Race ROTAX (Karting Solutions Group, KSG). The Pro Tour opener moves to the Southwest: March 27–29, 2026 at Musselman Honda Circuit in Tucson, Arizona. That weekend doubles as Pro Tour Rounds 1 & 2 (Winter Nats). Pre-entry opens February 23. No Wednesday practice; unofficial Thursday practice will be run by SKUSA.
SKUSA had delayed the announcement while it looked for a facility that could support the size and operational needs of the Pro Tour. CEO Tom Kutscher noted that several tracks had expressed interest but couldn’t finalize logistics. Musselman Honda, in the heart of the Southwest, is a long-time destination for competitive karting—smooth, challenging layout, a recently repaved pit area for team setup and safety, and a technical, flowing circuit that rewards precision and strategy. For West Coast teams, the location also keeps travel more manageable than some previous Winter Nats options.
The second part of the news is the alignment with Race ROTAX (Karting Solutions Group) for the full 2026 Pro Tour season. In response to teams and competitors asking for better scheduling coordination and lower travel costs, Race ROTAX events will run neighboring each SKUSA Pro Tour stop—same region, back-to-back weekends where possible. The 2026 pairing dates are:
- March 20–22 — Race ROTAX at Musselman Honda Circuit (Tucson, AZ)
- March 27–29 — SKUSA Pro Tour Winter Nats Rounds 1 & 2 at Musselman Honda Circuit
- June 5–7 — Race ROTAX at MCC Cincinnati (Batavia, OH)
- July 31 – August 2 — Race ROTAX at New Castle, Indiana
The goal is to let competitors optimize travel and logistics, reduce back-to-back event strain, and plan more efficiently without giving up championship goals in either series. SKUSA and Race ROTAX also plan to combine logistics where it makes sense—staff, officiating, and tires—to build a more unified national karting calendar. Kutscher: “It’s not about two organizations—it’s about making the sport more accessible, sustainable, and enjoyable for drivers who compete in multiple championships.”

St.Cyr Racing Academy runs at Spring Mountain in Pahrump—we’re not at the Winter Nats, but we follow national series so families know where the ladder goes. Tucson in late March is a big one for the Pro Tour and for anyone chasing SKUSA and Rotax in the same trip.
